the mysterious monarchy, who used to be the equally mysterious milke, finally have a debut album ready to roll out later this summer (with new single “love get out of my way” already making the rounds on BBC radio).

they’ve turned in one last remix to remember them by until then, and it’s a stunner. they take new kelis single “acapella” and turn it into a cosmic disco stormer worthy of kylie minogue (who should seriously consider getting these guys to produce a few tracks for her).

martin vidal is a rising dance producer out of california. i’ve already played his “listen to disco” remix of “norway” by beach house on the circuit. now he’s taken vampire weekend‘s “horchata” and turned it into a similarly balearic banger.
